this is interesting, i had a myrena coil fitted then had suspected pelvic inflammatory disease resulting in massive bouts of pain. this was all before my FM was diagnosed. during one of the PID attacks i had tests done on my bladder, in conclusion the specialist said the PID was not PID but huge muscle spasms in the pelvis, he said i needed to relax more, at the time i thought he was talking rubbish but now i have the FM diagnosed i can see looking back now i think he was right.
if you think about it, the womb is a muscle and FM makes muscle and soft tissue nerves ultra sensitive, we feel pain when others would not even notice a twinge!
if you think your getting worse with the coil then have it removed.trust your own instinct.
