   I hav enever got a flu shot for my son, who is now 8. Nor did I get a flu shot for my daughter last year. She is now 14 months. I don’t plan on getting either of them flu shots of any kind this year. I am getting a lot of crap for it, but my children seem to have very healthy immune systems, they get mild colds and fight them off just fine on their own. Why pump a bunch of crap into their bodies?

   My son is 2 and he had the H1N1 and he did not have the vaccine..nor did he take tamiflu..and he is fine..I still think vaccines are a good idea though.

   Well good to hear that you heard about babies surviving this virus. But their has been already 76 and counting children dying from the virus. To me babies are too young to develop enough antibodies to fight against the flu or swine flu. Some children are able to fight off the virus, but even the healthy children get hit hard from the virus and it turns for the worse for them. The experts are confused themselves, b/c they are saying children with all these underlying problems, but it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. B/c every child is at risk. That’s why I believe that people need to stay away from crowds or gatherings of any sort. B/c you don’t know who may be carrying the virus and you come into contact with this person and not even know it. I say when they say the virus is starting to tamper off, then continue with everyday life. But until then STAY away from gathering,parties and etc… b/c that seems to be the best thing we can do for now. Even the experts are stunned on why healthy children are getting it and dying from it. I have a 20mth old myself, I’m still weary on weather to get it or not! It’s really scary :~(
   Well I been reading newspapers and they have parents who child was a healthy child and came down with the H1N1 they become very very sick and eventually passing away. I really think it just something all parents should take likely. B/c there isn’t really a underlying truth to why healthy kids fall victim to this virus.

   TUESDAY, Oct. 13 (HealthDay News) — While the majority of people hospitalized with the H1N1 swine flu have chronic medical conditions, many were healthy before coming down with the disease, a U.S. health official said Tuesday.
   Among adults hospitalized with the H1N1 swine flu, 45 percent did not have a pre-existing medical problem and 6 percent were pregnant, Schuchat said. Among hospitalized children, 5.8 percent had sickle anemia or another blood disorder, she said.
   “The most common underlying conditions [for children] were asthma and chronic lung disease, neuromuscular diseases and sickle cell or other blood disorders,” Schuchat said.
   The findings were based on data collected on 1,400 hospitalized adults and more than 500 hospitalized children whose medical centers participate in the CDC’s Emerging Infections Program Network, she said.
   As of last Friday, 12,384 people in the United States had been hospitalized with influenza since August and 1,544 had died, including 81 children, according to the CDC.
   The number of pediatric deaths from the H1N1 swine flu is higher than usually seen with regular seasonal flu. During the past three years, deaths among children from the regular seasonal flu ranged from 46 to 88 annually, Schuchat said last Friday.
   The reason why little babies immune system are protected against Swine Flu is because they are protected by God himself. having Angels watch over them to make sure they don’t catch anything to serious make no mistake the media isn’t making this up. The Swine Flu is real and we are powerless to stop it. Swine Flu is Predicted the Bible (Matthew 24:7) to be exact. this is God’s will we can’t stop what is written. for all these things must come. before Christ’s return..
